Finding purpose in my every day.

"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men"-Col 3:23

I find myself at a loss as to what to do sometimes. Perhaps it's just that some things just seem so insignificant that I don't feel the need to accomplish them. God doesn't tell "Whatever big things you do..." He says "Whatever you do..." So as I come to a close with my none-school days, I still need a focus. A Christ-like one. I was reminded of this because of some of my own selfish actions this morning. Wanting things to happen for me. Not having the desire to keep myself busy with the Lord's work.

Goodness do I have a lot to work on ;)

  1. I can really appreciate the need to stay focused, especially with my college classes. If ever there was someone who could stay focused, it's you :P

Praying the Lord will grant you goals and the motivation to see them through!

  2. Thanks for this reminder, Camille! I certainly fall short, also. But thank God for His mercies, and that He directs our focus back to Him whenever we let our gaze wander.

I can start right now, glorifying Him by using the abilities he gave me to study.

    In everything, right? :)
