The Top Hat
A top hat you must take seriously
For only the great wear it proudly
It's not a joke, not very silly at all
Oh, but careful, it's so likely to fall
You can wear it smugly on a train
Or an opera, thus fitting the mood
It will protect you from the rude
And rain, most definitely the rain
A top hat is an agreeable necessity
To that you should and would agree
Take it from the experts of the wearing
The head piece is clearly worth bearing
What are you waiting for? Buy one or two, buy three or four
To be dapper, be debonair, don the top hat, these days so rare
I like the look of top hats! Though no one wears them anymore.
