Random Thoughts...

Do you ever take a step back and wonder why you're doing what you're doing? I did recently, and I've decided to re-evaluate my life and work on areas I've been quick to bury and ignore.

I'd like to work on relationships inside my family, be on the internet less, get better grades and apply myself to my school work, and most of all work on my relationship with the Lord.

Do most normal people get stuck in a rut like this all the time? :(

I'm not sure why I've been so depressed today... kinda odd.

  1. Camille, everyone goes through it. it is hard and i wish i could say that it wont happen again but the sad truth is the we are imperfect and are bound to wander. that is why Jesus is such an amazing Shepherd, He is willing to go after those sheep that wander. no matter how far or how short a distance they went. I am praying for you, Camille, as i hope you are for me. you are not alone in this. just remember to keep your hope and faith.

    Much love, your brother,

    Asa

  2. by the way. i want to say i am proud of you. you never allow yourself to stay stagnant....or at least for very long. you may go through times where you see your flaws and things you need to change but think about it. you see those flaws and you work to fix them. many people are happy where they are, just ignoring their flaws and doing nothing to change. you continually sharpen and resharpen yourself. and i am proud to know someone so diligent.

  3. It's always good to be constantly evaluating your goals and how you're spending your time, it's something I'm trying to do more often. Those are all great goals and I know you can accomplish them. Out of curiosity, how'd you post this during yearbook? :P

    Praying, Erik

  4. There are no normal people, dear. I think we all go through some times when we feel a bit stuck with ourselves and our problems. I'm so thankful that God leads his children all the way through life. He'll give you the strength to fulfill the important things - like these goals you have.
